and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things

of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars

I'm glad you enjoyed it! She's like a drive up dairy bar! They just rotate! lol It was adorable in the beginning when the one little babe was snuggling with mom then crept up to her face so sweetly!

Another video of the babies nursing.. Let me know if the video quality on your end is not good. I downloaded the you tube app so I can post videos for you all but the quality seems awful. I'm taking the vids with an I phone 6s so the videos are beautiful on my phone but they look blurry uploaded.

I do have a question..can squirrels have kaytee positively peanut high energy suet? My mother bought it for the squirrel (she was just trying to be sweet), but I don't know if it's ok to give.

Well...I see my wild squirrels hanging all kinds of ways from my suet feeders I also buy the cyclinder shaped peanut butter "suet like" thing for my woodpeckers....the squirrels try their best to get at it...it's harder...but some have shimmied down the wire to it what I'm saying is for a "wild" I wouldn't think it'd hurt...she may not be interested either that was sweet of your mother

The babies eyes opened and they spotted me! I swear it was like, "hey you! Come here and play with us!". Mommy just supervised. She's sitting there watching in the dark, she peeks her head out once in one of the videos. These guys are all the place! Such a change from yesterday! Enjoy!

More baby fun. They opened their eyes. One starts eating the drywall! You can hear my, "Oh no! Don't do that hesitation" They will be out of that little hole soon at this rate and in our bedroom! 🤗

You haven't just been keeping these babies safe.
You've allowed momma to be safe within your home
    to raise her babies.
    That's commendable!
