Help need with constipation?

I have had my four week old eastern gray since birth. She started a new formula a week and a half ago and has had small, compact, dark gold pellets ever since. It takes me about 15 minutes of stimulating her genitals and gently massaging her tummy for her to finish pooping and sometimes she makes a little squeak while she's pushing like it's uncomfortable. She may be slightly dehydrated, though she passes the pinch test and has clear urine. She is otherwise healthy.

I feed her every 3-4 hours around the clock. She eats 4 to 4.5ccs of Fox Valley 20/50 formula, two parts water: one part formula.

Should I be giving her water between feedings, and if so, how much? Maybe someone could post of photo of healthy poo?

Hydration is very often the cause of constipation. Give her extra fluids between feedings. A tablespoon of sugar in a cup of water will work for hydration.

This may be a dumb question, but how much? As much as she wants?

Absolutely! SHe can have as much as she will take. NEVER is a question foolish!

So in a weird twist of fate, she now has extreme diarrhea! Yesterday I started giving her the sugar water between feedings. She was eating around 3 ccd each time. Around 8:00 she started having diarrhea and it continues. She still eats but I just fed her formula and she only took 2 ccs and is pooping white foam. I'm so worried. The formula has all been stored correctly; the only thing I can think of is that yesterday morning I soaked her nipples in Dawn dish soap and they weren't properly rinsed afterwards?

Now what? Will she die if it's the dish soap? Could the sugar water have made her ill?
