Default dosing gabapentin for eastern gray

I have a 96g female squirrel who was found dragging her back legs. I've only had her a week and she was starting to move her back legs more. But then I saw she was actually gnawing on one of her feet! And she has managed to chew off one of her toes! I'm at a loss...she chews any bandages right off. I've had her on metacam and SMZ all week...
A fellow rehabber suggested gabapentin but wasn't sure of the dosing. Assuming we can get some, does anyone know about dosing?

I do not find anything about gabapentin in WMB.

island rehabber used this med for her squirrel Owena to control her seizures.
I will direct her to this thread.

Owena's gabapentin is 250mg/ml, and she gets 0.2ml twice a day. She probably weighs about 450g (trying to weigh her would undoubtedly bring on a seizure so I won't do that ). I am running out but maybe we can reduce that dosage for a little one?

We could easily reduce this for a smaller squirrel, but what strength is Owena on, I forget.
I see we already have a weight on this little one, which is great!

edit: Let me get more coffee I see that Maura already posted it.
OK SugarHill what strength gabapentin do you have?
IF you have the same strength as Maura's
(250mg/ml) the dose for your squirrel
would be 0.044 ml twice daily.

Here's a 1 ml syringe showing where the dose should be.

I'm trying to find some gabapentin and found this on amazon; is it the same thing?

Or is it only a prescription?

We are going to see a vet this morning, a "safe" vet who has agreed to look at this little one. Yesterday I attempted to make an e-collar and put it on her but I became it was too tight/stressful for her and took it off. Instead, I bandaged her foot with some non-sticking bandages, putting vetrimycin and an antiseptic spray on it first.
She has started eating less and less, and began making a labored breathing/congestion sound. So I added a drop of baytril to her formula, probiotics, etc. Her poops look normal, but she seems to be going downhill. I hate this...she seemed so perky when I got her a week ago; I can't imagine what I should/should not have done; but I still feel it's my fault.

good news from the vet- she thinks this little one may recover some mobility in her back legs with time and therapy (gentle stretches and exercises, some time in a sling, etc. So any suggestions for the best ways to go about this would be wonderful, if anyone has any. She seems to get so tired so quickly, so we've just been spending a few minutes in a makeshift sling, made out of tshirt material.
Also, her appetite has improved!!!! Thank God!
