    Default Bloated Baby??

So I recently bumped up my baby's feedings to 7.5 cc (125gram baby) and just now during feeding, his tummy felt round. It was squishy, but it was fuller than I ever seen it before.

He just peed prior to the feeding, and it was clear. And he let out a little brown pellet (On formula since wednesday afternoon). I pinched the skin between his shoulders and he may be a tad dehydrated. Im not currently at a place where I can get pedialyte or whip up a hydration formula but I do have the baby with me.

I may just be being paranoid, but I presume this is a 'better safe than sorry' situation since I've read this can lead to death.

His belly isn't strained out like some photos I've seen but I'm still concerned. If there are any photos of a mildly bloated grey squirrel compared to a well fed grey squirrel it'd be appreciated so I can compare to him. Thank you!

Give him time to digest and see where you stand, I would not give him anymore formula until his stomach is down. You can always use plain water for hydration, still would wait awhile before doing that. I wouldn't call what your seeing bloat just yet and if he's pooing he's not constipated. Also maybe you should back down to the 5 % feeding waiting until he's a bit older to increase.

I was just being a worry wart. She's fine (Yes, she.. I mistook the vulva for testicles but.. now I know..) She's fine. Peeing normally, and just ate a 7cc breakfast. I figured I could back it down to just above 5% and she'd be fine. I'll work my way up to a full 8 by the end of the week, I'm sure. Thank you!
