    Exclamation Possible Neuro problem

Wrigley is 5-6 weeks old and has a possible neurological issue. When we got him I didn't notice anything, all he would do was eat and sleep. Now he is getting more excited at food time and is spending more time awake. His head stays below and tilts to the side. He tends to do circles, he falls on his back a lot when moving around. He is friendly and happy, it has a great appetite, he poops and pees beautifully, the only issue is his lack of balance. He has no drainage from his ear but he does scratch at it frequently. There is only one vet locally who will deal with him and he cannot be seen until Tuesday. It is obviously not life-threatening but it breaks my heart. He wants to move around and be active he just doesn't go far. Any thoughts or suggestions? Have any of you had squirrels with similar issues? I will post a video of him if that's possible on the board. If not I can post it on my public Facebook business page so we don't have to deal with privacy issues & friend requests. I have prior squirrel experience but haven't seen anything like this. Thanks in advance for your ideas, you all are such wonderful fellow squirrel lovers.

Instead of facebook, you can upload it to youtube, flickr, or photobucket so no one can trace you ^^

Yes, it does sound like neuro issues... but best to post a video of him so we can rule out other possible things.
The scratching of his ear along with the imbalance is interesting. I'm curious if it might be an inner ear infection or tooth issue or something like that... maybe a combination of a few things. Can you post video to youtube?

I will look at YouTube. I don't have an acct on any of those places. I'll be feeding him In about 30 min so i will get a video. My Facebook page is www.facebook.com/NeriumNiche I'll post here when I figure out the posting site. Thank you. I just ADORE him and it breaks my heart that he may have an issue. I'll love him just the same if not more if he's special!
