Default HELP: Little guy with broken arm, but NO vets are lawfully allowed to treat it.

I found a squirrel who had been hit by a car. The right arm is broken. Unfortunately, in my state they will euthanize any non-native squirrel if I take it for medical attention regardless of whether the injuries are treatable or not.

How well can an arm heal on its own if I take care of the squirrel and give it shelter, food and water?

If I take it to a neighbor state they can treat it but may euthanize it if they want to, because I would need to surrender it. It seems like some rehabilitators are reluctant to treat a squirrel with a broken limb.

What do you think I should do?

    Thank you!
