So last night I was feeding my fat girl (aprox 7-8 weeks old) and on her 4th syringe I noticed she was holding one of her front legs funny and wasnt really using it to hold the syringe, but other wise she did not seem bothered by it.
After we finished feeding I gently tried to see what the issue was-

Examination:
the leg is not swollen what-so-ever, there was no visible bruise, no visible laceration or injury, she didnt react to me manipulating the leg in a variety of ways, and the leg seems to hang oddly and she seems unable to raise it or use it as she can the other. I suspect she dislocated her shoulder or pobssibly a fracture. The only reaction she gave was when I tried to rotate the leg as if to pop the humurus joint back into the socket, but all she gave was a little grunt and jerked away. Otherwise she does not act as if she is in any pain.

I gave her some metacam and put her in her cage to sleep it off and I had hoped the injury would resolve itself naturally or I would see some improvement, alas that hasnt happened.

Before feeding I had cleaned and placed new branches in her cage, I was out of the room 10 minutes to make her formula and I suspect in that time was when she got injured.
