Shakes and Tremors...Seizures?
I have a grey squirrel I believe to be a runt and thus pushed out of the nest...I found him barely alive, breathing, and eyes open while belly down on the pavement. I have had him for about a month, and every now and then he'll start to shake almost as if shivering, but I'm positive he is not cold...it's humid and 77 degrees. Last week, this was followed by what appeared to be seizures; he would shake, kinda stiffen up, lose bodily control, and do the mehr mehr mehr sound. He'll stop and be fine, but start back up and it'll last off and on for an hour tops. This is not an everyday event; he is okay 98% of the time, though. Any thoughts? Oh, and we call him Nibbles. :-)
