I live in DeLand central Florida. I have an 8yrs old grey squirrel Hammy. We were wondering do you take your squirrel to the vet to have its teeth cut or do you do it? If you go to the vet how much do they charge you? I have never trimmed her teeth. She has plenty to chew on. I still feel her bottom teeth are too long. I called the vet that I took my flying squirrel to have his eye removed from a bad Cherry eye situation. They charged $180-ish. For the trim of the teeth was $230 plus $50 for being first visit. I felt 230 was kind of high. I'm not super rich and will save up the money if needed or maybe someone is willing to help trim. Thanks for any input.
