I have 2 young squirrels, I'm thinking between 8-12 weeks and I just want to know if they are supposed to be a certain weight. One of them weighs 93 grams and the other weighs 147 grams on a digital kitchen scale. The weight difference between them bother me.
Also, the other day the smaller squirrel had a really hard butt and it looked as if a tiny bit of white stuff (puss??) Was in his butthole. So I soaked his bottom (with a fight of course lol) and rubbed his belly at the same time. His butt softened up and I haven't seen anymore white stuff but I'm still scared. And it looks like hes trying to go to the bathroom sometimes but nothing happens. Other times he poops ok. He won't clean himself down there like the bigger one will so I've been wiping him with baby wipes.
Next question- I guess I have 3 sorry.
The bigger ones poop is hard and today I helped pull some poop out of his bum and it look like there was something like a string holding the little pebbles together like a necklace. What can I do for that?
