I have four baby squirrels about 6 or 7 weeks old. 2 opened their eyes a week later than the other 2. But all of the same litter. I have them on Esbilac with probiotics and a little heavy Whipping cream. I am feeding them at 7% of their weight every 5 hours. I just switched from every 4 hours because they seemed to be losing interest before eating even 5%. Now they seem to want more than 7%.Can I give them more? Their weights today are at 243, 240, 227, and 225 grams. Also, what is the maximum time I can go between feedings? My son has been taking them to school (college) with him during the week because I work and cannot do feedings every 4-5 hours. My dilemma is, they are outgrowing their 19 gallon Sterlite container. I have a large cage my husband built, that I just started putting them in here at home. But if I keep them home with me, for the sake of being in a larger cage, they will have to go almost 10 hours without eating. Is this an OK thing to do? Link to video of the squirrels below. Video was taken 8 days ago.
