Gray with multiple issues

Hi, This wild gray has been visiting for about a year. Late this winter she began losing hair like crazy, all over her back and down her legs. To make her situation more heartbreaking she showed up about a month ago appearing blind in one eye (clouded over gray) so her quality of life is not great and I wonder if that is related to the skin issue.

I've tried giving her Ivermectin in April (in a hollowed out peanut, it was a rare treat so she ate it), and it seemed to stop the itching but her skin is getting worse. A Facebook page dealing with squirrels recommended Revolution for kittens (without giving clear directions on use), but my vet won't prescribe for a squirrel. Is that a good suggestion? If so where do I get Revolution (if possible) without an Rx? And if I get it, how much to dose, over how long a time? Is there something else I can do? Any suggestions are welcome!

I should also mention that she may have multiple things going on. Some days she is VERY lethargic and sometimes even seems confused. That said, she has good days and seems Ok, other than the new eye issue.

I would really love some guidance on how to help this little girl. I know summer is coming but I doubt she'll make it through the coming winter if she goes completely bald (she lives in the Pacific Northwest).

Revolution without prescription: https://www.joespetmeds.com/flea-tic...-cats-dogs.htm Where it says "Size of Breed" select "Puppies and kittens up to 5 pounds". This ships from Australia, and often is labeled Stronghold, which is what Revolution is called in Australia.

Ivermectin should work with mange mites. It requires at least 2 and preferably 3 treatments, given 7-10 days apart. It does not kill the eggs, so you give a dose, wait 7-10 days during which time the eggs hatch, and the 2nd treatment kills them. Any stragglers will be killed 7-10 days after that with the last treatment. If you gave only one dose, you may want to go back and do this again with the follow up treatments.

Thank you. It's possible that the Ivermectin doses I gave her in April were too small (about the size of a match head). I wish there was some way I could be absolutely sure about the proper dose. I want it to work, but I don't want to give her too much. As for the cloudy eye, I guess there is nothing I can do about it. It basically happened overnight and I don't know if it was the result of trauma or what.

I put one drop between the shoulders. It works very well. As C M said, you must repeat dosing a week later.

You apply ivermectin topically? You must be using the liquid, not the equine paste??

Oh sorry, I was referring to Revolution.

So just to be clear, IVERMECTIN in the form of the equine paste wormer 1.87% is dosed by giving a bit of the wormer the size of a grain of uncooked rice (just stick it in the folds of a piece of pecan) orally. 3 total doses, each one 7-10 days apart.

REVOLUTION is given as a drop of the liquid on the back between the shoulder blades - part the hair so you get the liquid on the skin. Re-dosing is after 30 days. Revolution does kill eggs as well as adult mites so often one dose is enough.
