Default Very tip of squirrels tail is turning black and dying

This is my very first time posting, I hope I'm doing this correctly! We have a baby girl squirrel approximately 2 weeks old. The tip of the end of her tail is turning black and looks pretty much like it's dying. There's no injury at the tip that may have caused this. There is a small gash mid way up the shaft that she acquired falling from a cut down tree. She's eating fine, other than being fussy. Stools seen normal as well.

    Can you post a picture?
How long have you had this little one?

    What are you feeding her/him.

I have had a pinkie who lost the very tip of his tail just as you describe. I have no idea why, but the very tip just dried up and eventually fell off. He was no worse for the wear and tear though.

I'm feeding her powdered Esibilac (spelling?). Going to read that link now, thank you! I've included a picture for you as well. I've had her two weeks, she was a pinkie when she was found, along with her two sisters. I have all three of them.Name: IMG_6086.jpg
