Two different antibiotics for pneumonia?

His poop did smell very bad. I am just weaning him into his new formula, but I had not started the new formula yet when he had the diarrhea. He's never had it before now.
I had him drinking pedialyte for the rest of the day until his skin was back to a healthy elasticity, he was having diarrhea after drinking the pedialyte. The only difference in his rputine today was the honey and water that I gave him a couple times this morning, could the honey have anything to do with the dehydration or the diarrhea? He is still doing great since the incident. He just had some formula and ate it happily. No diarrhea since the formula. Im just keeping a constant eye on him now and keeping him warm.

The Baytril could be contributing to this.
That's why probiotics are so essential when dosing
any antibiotic.
Also hydration is key when they are on abs.
So even if he takes his new formula, and since he has
had diarreha, give him some pedialyte in between formula
feedings.
We've never heard of honey water having this effect, but
that doesn't man it couldn't happen. I suspect it could be
the Baytril though.

He began the baytril tuesday around noon. I went ahead and gave him half and half of the old and new formula and watered it down pretty decent. I also put a tiny bit of probiotics in with it. Is there a specific way to give the probiotics? I just shaved a bit off of the pill and mixed it with the formula. And how often should I give him the probiotics? I just gave him some more pedialyte, he liked that alot, and he defecated very healthy right after. It was formed, a mustard color and did not smell. I read somewhere that the stress of dehydration can cause diarrhea, it seems like that must have been what it was as far as the diarrhea. How often should I get up tonight to hydrate him?

Not sure if stress from dehydration can cause diarrhea.
I have a feeling it may be the Baytril.
Hydrate as often as he will take it. I would try
one good hydration feeding before you go to bed and
then first thing in the morning, then more formula.

Also she is going to need to be on probiotics while taking this.
I get the capsules from the drugstore that humans take.
Just put a pinch in something that she drinks or eats, about the
size of O, it will protect her tummy from the abs.
Dose this ~2 hours before or after giving the antibiotics.
You don't need to get this exact probiotic, as long as you get a capsule
that you can pull apart. They taste very mildly sweet, so you shouldn't have a problem
with her eating or drinking it.
