Unusually sleepy male gray squirrel, around 4 months and it's December in Florida

Hi i'm doing this right i have saved a sweet male gray squirrel when he was probably maybe 4 weeks old to 6 weeks old, and a bottle fetting for about 3 weeks eating on his own he may sleep till 5:00. That even is on a red occasion, it is December in Florida but it is not very cold in Tampa believe me it's about 77° here.I am very worried about him because He will only get up if I wake him up play and feed him, he will eat something and most of them he will bury he's been borrowing that's pretty good bit i just pulled a whole bunch out and letting pick a lot and do it for a little exercise. And every time I walk away he will just burrow back down and throw his three little blankets he has over him. Other than that he's fine, is this something that they do around this time we did take a trip to our families that was a little long i'm thinking maybe he's tired from that but if we've been home a couple of days. And he slept the whole ride there in the whole ride home. I need help because everything I look up is not helpful at all it just says scrolls do not hibernate and that's all I find. Begging to please make my heart feel better about my poor baby squirt he's had a hard little life in the beginning is I sure don't want him going through anything else.

This is not normal for a 6 week old. Are his eyes open (and if so do you know when they opened)?

Lethargy can be a sign of Aspiration Pneumonia (AP). Bottle feedings... and not using a syringe for feeding... will cause AP in squirrels; they cannot suckle from a bottle appropriately. Hold him to your ear like a phone and see if you hear a clicking noise or a crackly noise (like Rice Crispy cereal in milk) when you listen to his chest.

If those sounds are present in his chest he is likely to be suffering from AP and will require antibiotics immediately. Check you cabinets, as friends and family. He will need only a single pill for treatment and we'll provide dosing instructions if needed... we'll need the name and strength of any and all antibiotics founds, and your little squirrels weight to guide you through it.
