Rehabbers in Northern California area that take non releasable disabled grey squirrel

Hi there all, just looking to see if there was anyone in northern California or Central California that may take a gray squirrel that is not releasable but otherwise healthy and happy. One of the squirrels that was brought in ended up having what first looked like neurological issues but very long story short it looks like he’s actually blind. He’s been doing well otherwise with the rehabber he is with now but there is no way that he could be released. So didn’t know if there was anyone in the area- rehabber‘s that have the capability to take care of long-term a non-releasable squirrel. Thanks so much.

Hello CJC,

I'm not a rehabber. Not sure where you are in NorCal but have you tried calling some Wildlife Centers in the area ?? I'm in Pleasanton (East Bay - TriValley). There are a few Wildlife Center around here but do not know their policy for long-term care.

P.S. I remember you from last year so I know your location. There are a few wildlife centers within a few hours drive of you.

Bay Area is too far away.
