My girl is five years old and definitely has a UTI. She’s had discharge for a few days and some blood in her pee. It’s been a few years since this last happened and for the life of me I can’t remember how to figure out dosing.
She’s on the smaller side - she does not approve of my picking her up lol she destroyed a tendon in my little finger last summer when I tried to pick her up so I’m not inclined to force it when she’s feeling lousy. I’ve had her since she was a baby but she’s a feisty little turd. I suspect part of the reason for the UTI is because she had problems with her back legs and being able to fully groom herself.
I’m still trying to get her onto a scale to catch her weight. I have Sulfamethoxazole/Tmp ds tablets 800-160 mgs. I have no idea how to break these down appropriately or how much water to add to them. The only info I’ve been able to find is someone saying to give an adult squirrel .33cc of it…but that’s literally all the info I can find. Any help would be very very appreciated.
