Default squirrel turning round and round.

Girl squirrel about 7 or 8 weeks old. Was fine just a little while ago but now is turning in circles and not going anywhere. Not sure how fast this came on but the first thing I notice was she was rolling over one way and looked like she was trying to grooming hers self an trying to get to a hard to reach spot. Now she is turning in circles and going nowhere. She look normal aside from this. I have amoxicillin if it might be an infection.

Could she have fallen and hit her head?

Check for signs of head injury. Any cuts, scrapes, bloody nose, mouth or ears. What was her condition when you got her?any health issues when you initially got her?

It may have been something she eat. Feeding her seemed to help, maybe this moved what ever it was out of her system. When she was turning in round and round I was worry because she was not slowing down but she is sleeping normally now. She has just started getting very active today and starting to do some exploring.
I am now worried because one of the lower insiders is too long. I am not sure but this tooth might be loose but It needs clipping. If it is loose I am hoping if I clip it it it will take any sideways pressure off the tooth and it will tighten up in the right position. It may not be loose though. I hope she will not have a permanent malocclusion but if she does I will have to get good at trimming her teeth.
I am reading that it is best to use a dremel but if you use a clipper to make sure it is a German made very good grade steel. I am worried about cracking a tooth if I use a clipper. If I did use a clipper I wish a could find a very short one that would not cut much past the tooth too make it less likely to cut the lips or tongue. There is a trimmers for sale at the Squirrel Store adverted on the internet as the best tooth trimmer for squirrels. Does any one know if these are really the best clippers for teeth. Can a fine file be used. I was thinking of using a pop sickle stick to protect the tongue. Not sure how to keep the lips away. Can a fine small file be uses if you go slow. If I get a dremel what kind of blade and speed should I use.
I do not have a way to sedate her and am afraid of sedating her anyway. I can wrap her in a towel to so she can not move but holding her head still will be hard unless I find someone I can trust to help me.

Hi Gray - I hope the little one is doing better? As for clipping, if you have no experince in that I would say that can be very tricky. Do you have a trusted vet that my assist with this and take a look at him/her?
