Angry behavioral issues from two year old squirrel

My squirrel is 2 years old. she is a female, not spayed. for the past 3 days, she’s been very aggressive to everyone but me. over a cabinet in my kitchen, near some of the blankets, basically everywhere she thinks she’s hid something. when she tries to attack i lure her back into her cage (large cage) we put blankets over her cage. please give any tips !!!

Unhappy forever home or rehab for squirrel

URGENT URGENT my squirrel isn’t being nice to other people in my house. and it’s not fair to them so i need a home for my squirrel. 2 years ago we got her from a friend after her family was killed, she was a pinky when we got her. She’s healthy and she was raised alone. she’s two. she’s never seen another squirrel. We were going to release her but we were afraid because she has never been outside nor been socialized with squirrels. I either need a rehabber or a forever home. I want her to be safe and sound. we are in North georgia.

She sees your home as her territory, and will defend it aggressively till you end her perception of it by not feeding her outside her enclosure. Do not feed her by hand either. Reduce the number of nuts down to one daily if organic hazelnut to support wearing down her teeth, and 1 every other day is she is overweight to help reduce to a healthier lean weight vets recommend for these animals when cared for in captivity. if walnut or pecan one nut in shell every third day can be given. Suggest adding magnesium L. threonate one half capsule added to applesauce or baked squash daily lends towards greater bone density as seen in rat research, than the high Ca:Mg ratio in rodent block alone It also lends towards chilling out the squirrel. Do not use a high squeaky voice but baby talk that is softer and slower, it actually can draw them into a less stressed state of mind if you do it long enough. Sources to gnaw on include untreated naturally shed antler sections; naturally well sun bleached animal bones. I don't promote the use of sea shells as there is more than a bit of polluting from that source with toxic heavy metals; since most of our seas are contaminated. Even limestone deposits have in some areas been found to be contaminated with lead.

    Hi BingoBongo:
I just read your update on Squirrely's condition. Is this request for Squirrely? What is she doing that appears she is not being nice to other people in your home? Is she still playful and interactive with you? Was she at one time friendly to others and if so, when did this change take place. Often, a captive (or pet) Squirrel becomes a one-person Squirrel and this can lead to problems if other seem suddenly to be slighted or worse yet, threatened by the Squirrel's behavior. I am at work and will be back on TSB when things may slow down later this evening or hopefully by morning! Hopefully an adoption facilitated or a rehabber can accept Squirrely with the intent of starting a Soft-Release process.
    Regards,
    SamtheSquirrel

    just wanting to update:

i found an awesome place to socialize squirrelly with another hand raised singleton. it broke my heart to let her go but she deserves a chance to be a normal squirrel. i appreciate everyone on here with all of your stories and tips.
