    Default Ash Tree Limbs

We’ve had lots of storms and trees blown over/split in half

One was a hug Elm; another an Ash Tree, with the bunches of seed pods.

I’ve read the seeds can be dangerous, but what about the nice, fresh limbs for climbing /chewing? Any contraindications for Elm or Ash?

Is there a comprehensive list somewhere (here- not fb) that lists all the safe trees for NR’s?

    Thanks!

This is what I assume is the Ash; can trim off the leaves and seeds.

This was our poor Elm tree. Lost a nest of bluebirds

for the elm tree! Irreplaceable loss.

We have green ash here, the squirrels enjoy the seed pods but not to excess. Don't know what kind of ash that tree is. Our ash trees don't seed until late summer. Maybe it's a climate variation?
