I see a lot of posts about problems with esbilac & some fox Valley formulas, but these are old posts. What is the current status and 2025 recommendations for formula for pinky squirrels and for older babies?

My personal opinion is that neonates (1 wk old or less) don't do well with any of the powdered formulas available for squirrels. In the past I used Esbilac with great success but since it's changed again, no. The temporary Goat Milk formula found on this board is advisable for 1-7 days old.

At 2 weeks I gradually transition to the Esbilac with Fox Valley Ultra Boost added at a 3:1 ratio. At four weeks I go to FV 20/50 with Ultra Boost added with a 2:1 ratio. Works really well for me.
