On this episode of am I overreacting as a Squirrel Parent

Pip was enjoying her last feeding of the day and somehow even though she was drinking with no assistance from me started sneezing milk everywhere. I'd say a solid 4-6 seconds of continuous sneezing milk flinging included. She's 100g after the feeding and ate approx. 5 ml before her sneezing episode. I acquired a pill of Amox. 500mg unfortunately its 6 months past its peak effectiveness.
should I start giving her a preventative antibiotic treatment or wait until the first symptom and prepare accordingly ,And with either scenario where to be a good thread to get a dosing chart?
Also anyone got a good probiotic to fix her gut biome that's gonna be nuked by the antibiotic treatment?

I would wait to see if there are signs of pneumonia. The FIRST sign you will get is looking like they don't feel well - lethargic, don't want to eat like they normally do, etc. That is your sign. You don't want to wait until you can hear clicking in the lungs.

You should be using a 1ml syringe to feed. Anything larger will cause what just happened. You will also need a 1ml syringe with clear markings on it to measure the antibiotics.

If you can give us the weight of your baby someone here will send you instructions for how to dilute and then dose the amox.
