    Default Red swollen vulva

Peanut is going on 3 years old. She is an inside squirrel. Today when I went to feed her I noticed her vulva was red and swollen. Could this be heat? UTI? Something else? Please help! It’s never looked like this before.Name: IMG_8553.jpg

I'm not a rehabber or a veterinarian. But I might can make you feel a little better. Based on my experience with a female eastern gray that had a few UTI's in her life, that doesn't look too bad. That might just be an irritation that will go away. There was more swelling and at least some urine dribble and sometimes some infection discharge when my girl had a UTI. Just keep an eye on her. If there's no improvement in a day or two, then consider a treatment for a UTI. Hope this helps.
