HELP- Aspiration 5 weeks old

I have ordered from an avian site I used long ago. Baytril 10% liquid
And amoxicillin 10% powder
Dosing is for birds for both and says should be added to daily drinking water?
I need help dosing pearl the squirrel and prayers that I receive it in time. Last night while feeding her she was going nuts on the nipple and I think I pushed to hard and she was having a hard time breathing -mouth open and was coming out her nose.
I sucked it out of her nose (and she seems ok after a while. Was good this morning but now she is clicking on and off and sneezing some. As soon as antibiotics arrive I want to begin her on them. She turned 5 weeks and eyes open yesterday. Today weight is 112 grams and 3.90 oz. I pray someone know how to dose with these meds. Thanks and I hope you all get this. I do t know how to join groups and no one saw my last post.

Sent you dilution and dosing info by PM for the Baytril which is by far the better choice of the meds you will have.

If you have just ordered these medications on line and do not have them to administer, I would encourage double checking the medicine cabinets, asking family friends and neighbors for any leftover antibiotics. Only 1 pill is needed for a full course of treatment.

If she is coming down with Aspiration Pneumonia (AP) waiting a couple days for meds to arrive is not an option.

all I can get is Cefdinir oral suspension. it was perscribed to my grandson because he had a reaction to amox and they threw it out

I don't want to give her up but bringing her now to rehab to save her maybe.

I am heart broken on my way to rehab and leaving her will be so hard. I hope they will help her. I can't without knowing the meds and doses

Thanks for all your help offered. I am sad but I know I did right by pearl. She need help fast and I wasn’t able to proved that for her. I am told not to call them that she will be with other squirrels and will be released with them. She will learn how to be a squirrel. I just pray she survives and thrives. Again thanks for your help. I am just selfishly sad. But happy for her! 🩷🙏
