He bought two cans and switched him to it. Also, the Fox squirrel food came in early but it says 4 weeks and older but we do not think he is four weeks. When should that be started?

    Hi Billie,

My suggestion is to start a new post thread so it can be specific to your squirrel. Adding to this thread will make it confusing between the ongoing comments for another squirrel and yours.

There are 2 forums up top, Emergency and Non-Emergency, you pick which one you want and copy/paste your text to it. Then TSB folks can jump in since its just your squirrel thread.

    Thank you.

If the "question above" has to do with switching to Fox Valley 20/50 (for squirrels 4 weeks and older), what I do (and have done for years) is transition to a formula which is 50% Esbilac and 50% Fox Valley 20/50 (1 part Esbilac, 1 Part Fox Valley 20/50 and 4 parts water) and I use this through weaning and have been very happy with the results / outcomes. I transition around 3.5 weeks old. Since 2 cans of Esbilac were purchased, this will allow the use of the purchased formula... if the Esbilac is used up then using 100% Fox Valley 20/50 is fine IMO.

The first and only solids foods should be rodent block. Henry's block is great, it is a supplement (2 blocks daily)... if you go with Henry's block, get the picky block.

    Hi Spanky,

Any way to pull Post #25 and put into a new thread ?? (its another member and a different squirrel)

Then you can delete my post #26 and this one so the thread can be straight forward.

    Thank you
