Very odd question red or gray

Hello everyone I'm completely stumped, someone brought me a baby squirrel (tried to reunite for 24 hours no luck)which going by the darker skin on back , dark peach fuzz all over even the little muzzle has whiskers I'd say a couple weeks old eastern gray but the weight is throwing me off on intake he was only 26 grams ,
but he's not skinny not dehydrated very active the most active baby I've ever seen actually he never sits still, pee clear poop was dark day 1 but now yellow tan.
Today makes day 5 and he is still only 32 grams . He is a horrible eater so I only use a 1/2 cc syringe and mini miracle nipple (the original not new clear) and literally 1 drop at a time he gets 5% of daily weight each feeding.
Right now I am using gme with a little hwc.

I've never in the past 10 years had a gray look so healthy and weigh so little or gain so slowly
I'm estimating 2 weeks but maybe he's either developing fast as far as fur growth , movement and such or could he be a dwarf/ftt and here is another thought but I'm highly doubtful of this possibly a American red squirrel ( we do have reds I can hear them but I've only ever seen one my whole life)
I'm stumped.

Today he is 32 grams, he looks and acts so healthy just extremely hyper and just seems like he should weigh more but he's not skinny if that makes sense
Also his nails look darker in the picture than they are

And his little bottom teeth have popped through
