    Default Squirrel distribution system

Hi , recently found a baby squirrel while walking my dogs. He was on the ground and it was already dark ,and getting cold so we took him in. I believe he is about 5-6 weeks old. I am doing my best to feed him with a pipette until I can get a syringe tonight. He is ravenous, I try so hard to make him go slow. My question is how do I know if he's getting enough. After a feeding he will root around for more and once he realizes there is no more he goes right to sleep.

The first thing you need to do is go here and read this guide: https://www.henryspets.com/1-baby-squirrel-care-guide/

It is 6 pages long (the advance to the next page is at the top right) but a fast read and goes over everything you need to know.

Feeding is a mathematical calculation - they should take 5% to 7% of their body weight in grams.

Read the guide and if you still have questions, please do come back here.
