Default Will these pellets be a potential choking hazard?

    Hi,

I've brought these pellets for two 8/9 ISH week old squirrels - they're quite small... There's a penny and a hazelnut next to them for size reference... Will they be a potential choking hazard to the squirrels, or am I being over cautious?

The hazelnut is only there for size purposes, as per lots of advice on here, the squirrels haven't tasted a nut yet! 😉

(I'm UK based, else would have got blocks!)

    Thank you!

They should be fine. They hold and nibble, they don't wolf them down like a dog does.

Thank you so much for your prompt response! Much appreciated! That's great, I'll try them... Really hope they go for them! 😋

    Update:

Thank you, they went straight for them and munched away! 🤗 One ate three and the other, almost two. I'll offer again in the morning and hour or so after the first formula feed.

    Thanks again for your advice!
