Plus all antibiotics from Chewy require a prescription. Allbird does not.

How is that allbird website selling a med that's usually prescribed by a vet? I would like to get some Baytril to have on hand for our squirrels if it's ever needed, but it makes me a little uneasy that this website is selling it without a prescription. Does anyone know if it's legit/how they can sell it with a prescription authorization?

A prescription is required for the medication for use in pet mammals, which is what Chewy and the like are selling.

In this instance they are selling the product for use in livestock and birds. It is legit and legal. Often the same medication can be bought for treatment of livestock without a prescription... there are even a few medications used in the treatment of aquarium fish (kind of a challenge to bring pet fish for an office visit?) that are sold by some pet shops.
