    Default Scooting butt on floor not acting normal lathargic

    I have a 1 year old female eastern grey she started dragging her bottom across the floor last night. She jumped out of her box a few times seeming scared and brags her butt . Help me please what can I do I cannot find a vet in my area of jefferson co. WV

    This time of year and at her age I would think that she is coming into or is in heat and is scent marking in order to give all the boys in the area the news. Other reasons to do this would include either extreme constipation (is she pooping) or bad diarrhea that is dirtying up her bottom (the world is their toilet paper). Are either of those things happening?

    You mentioned she was lethargic. Please describe. Is she eating? Can you tell us what her diet is?
