    Default Penis extremely enlarged bulbed HELP!

    Squirrel Girl in Des Moines once again in trouble! My NR Corn Pop is being teated for calcium diffciency. He has been doing much better with movement seeming to return slowly. I come home over lunch for feedings and treatment. He was fine at 12:30 at 4:30 his penis looks like this. Note in the photos he is wet and matted due to honey and sugar poultice.     That is a penis that has had the sheath rolled back due to self suckling. Use some coconut oil and rub it on the penis as you gently roll the sheath down towards the tip. It may take several attempts with lubrication to accomplish this.

    For the calcium deficiency….are you supplying a consistent dose of calcium throughout the day and following the MBD protocol?

    Good advice from Mel...note: if he is self-suckling he is hungry. Increase his nourishment and hydration. See if your vet will give you silvadene cream to prevent infection.

    An update on my dear boy! All healed!

    Took him to the vet and I believe the medication the vet prescribed was sulfameth - topical. Worked like a charm!

    She was able to conclude there was no prolapse -thankfully.

    It was irritation of the sheath.
