Default EPR vs Fox Valley Smell

I have 3 baby fox squirrels that I would guess are going on 4 weeks old. I’ve had them for a few days now and have been using EPR. I really dislike the smell of it. I had forgotten how bad it is. Their urine, poop, and they themselves smell like it. They are doing well on EPR and I had no intent of changing but if FV smells better I may have to make the change.

Yeah, Esbilac doesn't smell nearly as good as FV, which smells like vanilla cake mix!

I would strongly suggest you do a SLOW TRANSITION to FV 20/50. It is a much thicker, richer formula, which is why you need to spend some time transitioning from one formula to the other, but once you switch, you will see the babies really start to pack on weight and grow quickly. Esbilac babies don't get as big as FV babies. So regardless of poop smell (and I noticed a sweeter odor to the pee with it, though ALL of the baby pee smell made me crazy) I would make the switch.

Like all formula powders, you must keep this in the freezer. You can mix it right from the freezer.
