Hey everyone,

Thanks for your support with Yogurt, we’re still waiting on her situation.

A new wild showed up today and the first thing we noticed is how chunky he is! At first I thought maybe a surprisingly late pregnancy, but nope — he is male! We’ve named him Boyo.

It’s been really wet and cold here, so I wonder if he is just predicting and preparing for the weather? Is it normal for wilds to put on some weight in the fall? Or should I be worried and intervening somehow?

I have to trap him though. He has the same head tilt that Yogurt started with before she got worse. I hope we can catch him soon before he starts falling over like Yogurt. He gets sooooo close to the trap but then gets distracted by something and never goes in. It’s hard to catch a squirrel when there’s other squirrels running around!

We couldn’t grab any proper pictures of him but here is some gifs of what our security (squirrel) cams caught. He is the grey one.

Boyo is the one on the ground in this one.
