Default Diarrhea gone but what’s this mucous poo?

I have an 8-9 week old male that had diarrhea for 2 1/2 weeks. Thanks to Spanky for the metro dosing instructions. It is day 6 of the metro. I have still been giving dia stat and formula in alternating feedings. He is eating block well. I have added just a cpl veggies. His poops have been solid for two days!! He had this poo today. Why is there mucous? Should I be concerned? Do I continue dia stat?

My Bella had some mucus with her poop after taking Dia Stat. I wouldn't be worried. However, if your squirrel has been pooping solid for two days, I wouldn't think you need the Dia Stat any longer. Spanky would know more about such than I would though.

Different squirrels, different situations call for tailored approaches. Hopefully all is well with your baby
