    Default First time offering water

I’m rehabbing a 5-6 week old eastern gray. He is doing great. However, yesterday I filled a water bottle and put it in his inclosure. I went back for his next feeding to find him very bloated and a lot of water missing. I skipped a feeding and fed less the next two feedings and it resolved. I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what was your solution. I haven’t tried the water today. Thank you.

Way too young for a water bottle. Babies in the nest don't leave until they are 9-ish weeks old and that is their first experience with water. Just keep that baby well formula fed for now and hold off on the water bottle.
