Default My squirrel has broken legs or might be paralyzed help!

    Hello everyone,
I rescued a squirrel a couple of years back and released her to the wild about a year ago. She often comes back for food and comfort, as she has a really big enclosed space in our backyard where she is safe.
Yesterday she came back and looks like her two back legs are broken, or she might be paralyzed, we are not sure.
We call a Wild life rehab center, who referred me to a veterinarian. They will accept her but they say they can't give her back to me, they are going to give it to a local rehabber, and not even contact us.
I'm trying to contact a local rehabber but can't seem to find any here in Orlando, do any of you know how to find one? Maybe he can take it to the vet and get it back and we can release her back to what she knows. I don't want them to release her just anywhere, she might feel lost, she's very use to coming back home to rest and good food.
    What should I do?

Yes, this vet will see her and give her back to you if she is releasable. If she cannot be released are you willing and ale to bring her in and help her?

And if you are thinking that you are way too far away, we have a member here from CALIFORNIA who drove his squirrel to THIS vet. She isn't just in Florida and willing to do what you want, she is one of the best.
