    Default Tail injury?

Hi all. Hoping for some insight on what's going on with our backyard friend's tail. We see her everyday for healthy snacks and she showed up Wednesday w/ her tail like this. At first I thought there might be a burr or something stuck in it and figured she would be able to groom it out, but here we are on Friday and it looks pretty much the same. Any thoughts on what this might be? Injury or something stuck on it that she can't get out? Appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I don’t know how or why it happens, but I can say from experience with one of my backyard squirrels that it grew back on its own. He went from this…Name: EC8D4E3D-A7C6-4CD8-A571-22D8029275C5.jpg

Thanks for the reply, Maria. We had good news today in that her tail looks almost back to normal now. I think it must have been something stuck in it that's now finally out because all that's left is a tiny crimp in that spot now. Such a good way to start the weekend Thanks, again.
