Default Wheat straw pellets or hemp for litter

My Bella is ready for a litter box. Oxbow makes a pellet formed with wheat straw that is safe for rabbits, rats and other small animals. My concern is that Bella may chew on the pellets...everything goes to her mouth right now. I don't know if she'd actually eat them though...but just in case she did. And has anyone tried hemp litter?

Here is a link to the straw pellets:

I’ve only ever used Carefresh bedding in a small pan with a hardware cloth (wire) top that sits over the bedding and into the pan. That way they can’t get to it.
