I’ve never moved babies outside until they were totally weaned /close to 16 weeks old. But this first group of four is getting very crowded in my only spare double CN. Their weights range from 246 g up to 262. I don’t know their exact ages but eyes started opening around Aug 18.
I could either keep them in a bit longer and steal a triple CN from my NR’s
Or does anyone see any harm in me letting them finish growing in the indoor/outdoor RC set up I have? They are still taking milk about twice daily (one three times) , but they also are eating blocks and first veggies. More than likely they will all (the other group of 4 is a bit smaller 155g-186) be overwintered , not sure yet,
I guess I just didn’t want to move them so fast but they could have so much more room to play on real limbs and get fresh air, but stil have access to a cushy indoor set up via a tunnel/portal.
Two also have questionable teeth and i figured more variety of stuff to chew will hopefully correct these if possible. I can’t keep anymore NR’s, unless it was a docile buddy for lonely Doodles
