Hi, this young squirrel had its first journey outside the nest the other day and they could not find its way back up. the mother doesnt appear concerned. It has been 3 days and it seems super sad and lonely I made a little box to be safe on my deck and it has been sleeping in there so I know that it has a place to go but when its mom comes near, he makes these growling screeches. they sound angry or territorial to me??

Are you absolutely certain this is this little one's mom because neither is behaving like they are the mother or the offspring.

yes . at least 99.9% sure.. their nest is up in the crossbeams of.my deck. i have been watching the little ones up there.for.a while and i saw this one climb(semi stumble) across the netting and down from there.
he went up the stairs and is on top of the deck but the nest is below in the crossbeam and doesnt understand how to get there.
he can see his siblings through the slats and he's totally fixated on that spot he sits there all day with his nose down towards the nest

He needs to be transported to the lower deck and given the opportunity to reunite with his siblings if he is "parked" over the nest he is desperate to return...

im worried if he goes downstairs he will not find the nest, and potentially wander into the street
