Need someone near Gautier, Ms
Hey, Y'all, I don't get on very often. I have since relocated to Mississippi to take care of my elderly father. Today the cat dragged in a baby Swamp Rabbit. I'm guessing anywhere between 15-23 days. That is a guess though. I then heard squealing under the porch and the cat had another baby bun. I scared the cat off but somehow that bun disappeared on me when I climbed under there to get it. I hope it's okay. .If the cat knows where the nest is then he will just keep getting them. I know to put the bunny back but I fear that would not be possible. Plus I don't know where it came from in the first place. Anyhow, the bun I did get from kitty is in a quiet dark room in a cozy box. I was just wondering if there were any rehabbers near me in Gautier? Or if there is something else I can do, because getting rid of this dangerous cat isn't an option. It's the grandkids but they won't let it inside the house? I don't get it. Any help is appreciated. Also, in the picture the bun is a little wet from morning dew, but his fur is fluffier as it dries.
