It could be broken or infected. For a wild, homeopathic remedies are a good option; especially for breeding females.

    Homeopathic remedies:

The first remedy has antibacterial properties, and the second is known to reduce tissue swelling from tissue damage.

Both these were recommended by a rehabber for our female yard squirrel, who showed up one day with an injured swollen front arm.

    "Gun Powder" (8x) https://www.amazon.com/Boiron-Gun-Po...s%2C120&sr=8-2

    "Arnica Montana" (30 x) https://www.amazon.com/Hylands-Homeo.../dp/B006JG6TPO

Place one tablet separately into (1/4 Tsp.) of water to dissolve; then add two drops of the dilution to a walnut leave it a few minutes

for the water to evaporate and then offer it to the squirrel.

Sadly, no. The remedy is reduced down to the size of nano sized particles in water.

Hi. Just a suggestion to move this thread (or re-post it) in the non-life threatening section, as I think you will get more responses (than in the current, "other" category). Good luck
