Default UTI in my Male Gray (paraplegic)

My 380gm male squirrel has started showing signs of another UTI. Strong urine smell, as well as dark. And today I noticed his pee had a little mucous in it. I have 500mg Cipro on deck and 1ml syringe but was hoping I could get an accurate dose from someone? Hes 380gm.
Also, the last time I had to give him the antibiotics, he would throw up about 10 mins after the oral injection. Is this common and if not, does anyone have suggestions on how to keep it in his stomach? Even tho, he threw it up, it worked like a charm and within 24 hrs was back to his good ol selfthx
