    Default Becoming more affectionate?

Like a lot of others here I’m a worry wart. Doug is about 4 months old now and is becoming more affectionate. Usually he wouldn’t be still for anything and lately He will give me *kisses* and let me give him kisses. Today he’s even napping on me. I just want to be sure this is “normal” behavior.
    Thank you.

Squirrels are like humans…some are more openly affectionate than others. If you watch young squirrels in the wild babies will often snuggle up and groom mom…..she in turn grooms them back. Siblings will wrestle and hang on each other during play. Moms and babies sleep together for months, sometimes many, many months. I have a released female in my yard that allowed one of her babies to live with her for more than a year.

I think you should consider yourself lucky that your little guy thinks you’re special enough to want to be with you all the time.
