Default Tiny Pumpkins Safe? /Over-wintering Mental Stimulus

Hello! Trying to find things to keep squirrel brains active and wondering if the tiny pumpkins are safe for squirrels? I think they are called "Jack Be Little" pumpkins and fit in the palm of your hand? I've seen native wild squirrels go after our large Halloween pumpkins so I'm assuming it is safe but want to check beforehand. What else can be used as mental stimulus for a squirrel being over-wintered? She has a tray of sterile dirt with tons of cottonwood leaves, branches to climb, and her little nook that she sleeps in.

    Thank you!

Yes, the miniature pumpkins are fine. Just make sure it’s not like the varnished, decorative gourds.
The problem with giving them an entire mini pumpkin is mold. They will eat a little and if it sits it will mold. I have one in my refrigerator right now. I prefer to give them a section of the pumpkin and discard it the time day.
