    Default When to introduce water

I have this little baby squirrel it's an Indian palm squirrel which is around 8 weeks old so I just want to know when do I introduce water to the young fellow and how should I introduce it because right now if I try to feed water to them using syringe they simply reject it.

We recommend hanging a water bottle in their cage when they begin to eat solid food. You can also use a very shallow bowl with some clean pebbles in it so they don’t stick their noses under water.

While still on formula they don’t usually need water as the formula provides food and liquid supplementation. You might try adding a little honey or agave to the water if you’re trying to offer it by syringe. It might be more readily accepted.
