Time for a Skittles update! He’s so BIG! He’s 125 g and he’s in his new cage and he loves it.

He wrestles his little stuffed squirrel ‘siblings’ (Found a ZippyPaws dog toy that’s a big stuffed ‘log’ with three stuffed squirrels the dog can pull out of the holes. Skittles loves it!)

I also found these fleece-lined slippers at the dollar store that he LOVES to snuggle up and sleep in.

He’s already a skilled climber. We zip-tied branches in his cage and I attached an oak log to a platform so he has his own ‘tree’ to climb when he’s outside his cage.

Skittles looks great! I looked back at his first pics and I can’t believe how far he has come. He sounds like he is a lot of fun. Great job!

Yep! It’s fun shopping with a squirrel in mind. They’re so playful and curious. One of my favorite things though is that he changes in the few hours between feedings. Last night it was his tail fur which got WAY longer in between his last two feedings. It’s like magic how fast they grow.
