    Default Chipmunk and possible pneumonia

Okay I need help my 3 to 4 week chipmunk Yoshi aspirated a couple times due to a sticky syringe 😬 waiting for my order to arrive of new syringes to arrive anytime now. But he’s eating just fine and active but has a slight sneeze can’t tell if he’s making a clicking noise or chattering his teeth when sleeping. Is their any homeopathic medicine I can use just in case? Please help thanks

A fuller list of symptoms include:

    1. Lethargic (inactive)
    2. Difficult/labored breathing or rapid breathing or slow breathing and/or open mouth breathing
    3. Rapid heartbeat
    4. Fever or Chills
    5. Pale, bluish to dark purple skin from a lack of oxygen (Look at lips and pads of feet)
    6. Nasal discharge
    7. Sweet or foul smelling breath
    8. Wheezing, crackling, or clicking sounds when inhaling and/or exhaling

If AP has developed keeping him warm and upright will help but a serious case of AP will require a course of antibiotics administered promptly to have the best chance of recovery. Site admins can help with proper dosing if antibiotics are needed.

A one cc or 1/2 cc syringe with an o-ring would be best to help prevent AP.

This is a good video to watch for best feeding practices to help reduce the possibility of AP.
