    Default Odd skin condition

I’ll try to get better photos, (I don’t know how to load here) but our resident squirrel,
showed up this morning with a spreading skin issue. On his neck and back.
The only way I can describe it, is…a pile of oatmeal …skin tabs. Does not resemble ticks. No reddening. Thick dry patches.
Any clues? Looks very uncomfortable but not sickly.

Yes, a photo would be best. After hitting "Reply to Thread" then look for the paper clip icon. There will be several steps to the process to upload it into your post. Then hit "Preview Post" to make sure that it looks the way you want it to.

I’m not seeing the “paper clip”. I’m using an iPad …is that why ?

I am not sure if the interface is different for different devices. On a PC in the reply box you should see three rows of icons. These will effect 'bold' , 'underline', 'font' , 'justification' etc. The paper clip is in the first row of icons. It is situated between the 'smiley face' and the 'undo' arrow. Let me know of if that is the case. Let me know if you see those other icons I mentioned.

I believe as a NEW user I do not yet have privileges to upload photos.....No paper clip, and no ability to change settings 😳

Yes, that is possible. Hopefully, an administrator can change that setting so that members of the board can evaluate and diagnose the squirrel with the help of a photograph.

Do you have a way to crop these pics and blow them up a bit so we are just seeing the area in question? Could this be some sort of sticky seed case that is stuck in the fur?

I was able to speak with a rehabber who looked at the photos…he thinks it may have mange. The photos aren’t great but I’m hoping to get better ones next visit.
Hoping it comes back soon so I can help.
