You cannot give Meloixcam (or any NSAID) and Prednisone together; you must wait 24 hours after the last dose of Meloxicam and the first Prednisone and vice versa.

Do want dosing parameters or precise dosing once you have the squirrel's weight? If the injuries are not too severe, Meloxicam may be all that is needed. For more significant injuries and swelling, prednisone is recommended.

Tramadol can be given with Prednisone for pain management.
